For people living with anxiety, certain times of year can trigger heightened levels of anxiety and distress. Going back to school after the long days of summer is a big shift in a child or youth’s schedule. For some, the thought of returning to the classroom can give rise to anticipatory anxiety and fears of what it will be like to start a new school year. In this Pinwheel our panel will discuss back-to-school anxiety and best practices for managing it.
