Healthy Minds | Healthy Campuses and Royal Roads University are partnering to hold a Regional Forum on Vancouver Island (in Victoria) on ThursdayMarch 12 from 9:00am-4:30pm! The theme of the event is: Towards a More Inclusive Campus Community Culture on Mental Health.

This Regional Forum hopes to convene local campus stakeholders (e.g. students, student services professionals, community organizations) to discuss issues of concern in local contexts. Localized learning events can be an avenue for meaningful engagement, cross-learning and increased collaboration among neighbouring institutions and organizations. This Regional Forum is hosted by Royal Roads University and HM|HC is very grateful for their generous support and partnership.

As we extend our invite, we would like to respectfully and gratefully acknowledge that the land of Royal Roads University is defined by the 1850 Douglas Treaty with the Teechamitsa people. Today, the Kwsepsum (Esquimalt), Lekwungen (Songhees), Scia’new (Beecher Bay) and T’Sou-ke (Sooke) First Nations have members who are descendants of the Teechamitsa.

Vancouver Island campuses have been given the opportunity to register early and now remaining seats are open for everyone. To learn more and to register, please visit the Eventbrite Invite.
