This Prezi was presented by Healthy Minds | Healthy Campuses at the 2016 Disability Resource Network of BC conference. This workshop explored how the Recommendations for Documentation Standards and Guidelines for Post-Secondary Students with Mental Health Disabilities are being, or can be implemented in the various Post-Secondary Institutions in British Columbia.

The Recommendations originate with the three year Ontario-wide Research Study funded by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities that was jointly undertaken by researchers at Queen’s University and St. Lawrence College.

The workshop explored the question, “What are the barriers and opportunities around implementing the recommendations?”

A very successful webinar entitled “Academic Accommodations for Students with Mental Health Disabilities” was co-presented by the Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health and Healthy Minds | Healthy Campuses in the fall of 2015, which provided an overview of the study and the 14 recommendations.
