This book chapter gives a historical account of the development of Healthy Minds | Healthy Campuses as a collaborative learning community. Since 2004, HM|HC has sought to enable its campuses to enhance their respective environments and cultures. This has involved a growing understanding of the process of generating and sharing knowledge, nurturing connectedness while respecting diversity, applying dialogue, and equipping for greater personal and collective agency to advance well-being. It has also meant increasing reflection on appropriate assessment of impact in this complex endeavour to build human capacity.
