The\u00a0legislation\u00a0addresses\u00a0heightened concerns about the safety of young women on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Chrissy Clark announced plans to introduce such legislation after<span>\u00a0the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria both faced complaints about how they handled allegations of sexual assault.
