Join us in congratulating Katherine Moore, who received the UBC Faculty of Arts ‘Outstanding Leadership in the UBC Community and Beyond‘ award!

These awards are given to dedicated student leaders who have made an impact during their time at UBC.

Katherine sits on the steering committee of First Call: BC Child and Youth Advocacy Coalition and is building a province wide network of students in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association, BC Division to change the campus culture around mental health.

Katherine is also the recipient of a ‘Wesbrook Scholar‘ award—one of the most prestigious awards for undergraduate students at UBC.

The designation of Wesbrook Scholar is an annual designation awarded to a maximum of 20 undergraduate students. The students must be in the top 10 per cent of their class and have demonstrated the ability to serve, work with and lead others.

Way to go, Katherine!
